Blessedness
Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the LORD.
Psalm 119:1

O blessed are the undefiled
Who walk the lawful way
As children who are reconciled
With fruit that they display

O blessed are those set apart
Who guard the truth revealed
Who seek the LORD with all their heart
With faith their only shield

Avoiding all iniquity
Or wrong in any form
They walk in godly equity
For thus it is the norm

Thou hast commanded us to guard
Thy precepts in the law
To reckon them as due reward
For soldiers in the war

O that my ways were pointed out
Thy statutes for to keep
Then neither sin nor any doubt
Could thwart me on the steep

Then shall not shame be found in me
When I have due respect
To Thy commandments as they be
Complete in full effect

So I will praise Thee steadfastly
With heart and ready mind
When I have learned implicitly
Thy judgments true and kind

Thy statutes will I hold so dear
Their values are so high
Forsake me not, for Thee I fear
Thy love can never die

Refuge
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?
by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Psalm 119:9

How shall a young man cleanse his way?
By heeding to Thy word
It is a process every day
A practice well preferred

I’ve sought Thee with my total heart
Let not me go astray
Thy pure commandments on their part
Do keep me in the way

Thy word I’ve hid within my heart
That counters wilful sin
Thy holiness doth ne’er depart
Thy word hath walled it in

O blessed Thou, O LORD my God
A refuge in the storm
Teach me Thy statutes understood
That no one can reform

With lips I do in fact assure
The judgments Thou hast made
Like as Thy presence is secure
So I am not dismayed

Thy way of life that testifies
Is both my joy and crown
It is Thy love that satisfies
Surpassing world renown

Thy precepts I will meditate
And contemplate Thy spheres
That I may more investigate
Thy judgments without fears

Thy statutes are delight to me
Thy word I won’t forget
They always are my sanctuary
Secure with no regret

Provision
Deal bountifully with thy servant,
that I may live, and keep thy word.
Psalm 119:17

Deal with Thy servant openly
That I may live aright
And keep Thy word more readily
Thy name in all its might

Open my eyes that I may see
The wonders of Thy law
Astonishments too high for me
I could not see before

I am a stranger in the earth
Hide not Thy bold decrees
For Thy commandments from my birth
Have kept my soul at ease

My longing soul is crushed within
Thy judgments I desire
My soul is faint with sore chagrin
Clothe me with Thine attire

The erring one Thou dost rebuke
Him proud of heart and cursed
Who wanders from Thy statute book
His lot is not reversed

Take far away contempt from me
For it is a reproach
Respect for Thine authority
Are matters I will broach

Though princes sit and vie with me
Whatever they relate
Thy laws are my dependency
On these I meditate

Thy witnesses are joy to me
They are my true delight
My counsellors of old they be
In plenitude or plight

Opportunity
My soul cleaveth unto the dust:
quicken thou me according to thy word.
Psalm 119:25

My soul is clinging to the dust
My spirit is in need
In Thee O LORD I put my trust
Thou art my daily feed

My ways I have declared to Thee
Thou answered my request
Teach me Thy laws that I may see
The purpose they invest

Make me to learn and understand
The precepts Thou hast set
Thy wondrous works on every hand
I’ll talk about them yet

My soul doth melt with heaviness
O LORD I look to Thee
In Thy great love and tenderness
Thy word will strengthen me

Remove from me a lying tongue
And grant me graciously
Thy law that doth my days prolong
Acceptable to Thee

The way of truth has been my choice
Thy judgments evergreen
They are the essence of Thy voice
Wherever they are seen

I cling to patterns testified
To all Thou hast portrayed
Put not me LORD to shame or pride
But on Thy word be stayed

I’ll run the way Thou doth command
Observing every part
For thus I know Thy righteous hand
Hath so enlarged my heart

Vision
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes;
and I shall keep it unto the end.
Psalm 119:33

Teach me, O LORD, Thy righteous way
The way Thy laws ordain
And I shall keep it every day
As long as I remain

Give me a mind to understand
And I shall keep Thy law
I shall observe its clear command
With wholesome heart and awe

Make me to go the rightful track
That Thou hast stated clear
There is no thought of turning back
To them I do adhere

Incline my heart, O LORD, I pray
To Thy sure witnesses
Their record is my hope and stay
In liberty or stress

O turn my eyes from vanity
Enliven me within
Then from Thy pure vitality
Subdue my wanton sin

Establish now Thy servant, LORD
Devoted to Thy fear
Thy word will reap its own reward
When consciences are clear

O turn away reproach from me
Reproach is what I fear
Thy judgments of integrity
Do lastingly cohere

Thy precepts have I long desired
They point the way ahead
Enliven me with life required
For Thou doth raise the dead

Security
Let thy mercies come also unto me,
O LORD, even thy salvation,
 according to thy word.
Psalm 119:41

O let Thy mercies come to me
My LORD and hiding place
Thy great salvation made me free
According to Thy grace

So shall I have to answer him
The one who vents reproof
But not with language verbatim
Nor attitude aloof

Take not the word of truth away
Completely from my tongue
I’ve hoped in Thy great judgment day
And that will be my song

So shall I keep Thy holy law
Forever and a day
It strengthens me in time of war
And guards me in the fray

Then I will walk in liberty
Thy precepts I will seek
For they are food and drink to me
As vigour for the weak

Thy witness I will also speak
To those with royal fame
The kings who disregard the meek
Yet I will have no shame

I will delight in Thy commands
Commandments I have loved
The love that truth itself demands
As time has wholly proved

My hands I lift and venerate
Thy just authority
And in Thy statutes meditate
The love that made me free

Readiness
Remember the word unto thy servant,
upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
Psalm 119:49

Recall the word Thou gavest me
Which brought about my hope
The sureness of Thy prophecy
Unlimited in scope

This is my comfort in distress
Whatever pains they be
Thy word leads on to happiness
As Thou hast quickened me

The proud have scorned deridingly
With all their haughtiness
I’ve kept Thy law abidingly
Yet not as from duress

Thy judgments I recall to mind
The justice known of old
My comforts are to Thee inclined
As lambs within the fold

A fearfulness is gripping me
Because of wickedness
The servants of iniquity
Will perish nonetheless

Thy statutes are selected songs
Within my pilgrim home
For that is where my heart belongs
Wherever I may roam

I have recalled Thy name, O LORD
At night when day is o’er
Thou hast not left me overawed
For I have kept Thy law

These are the precepts in my soul
Hid deep within my heart
Where every jot makes up the whole
Thy word in every part

Deliverance
I will bless the LORD at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psalm 34:1

Praise

I praise the LORD from day to day
His blessedness I’m singing
He is my life
In want or strife
Now hear! The bells are ringing!

My boasting in the LORD shall be
The comfort of my yearning
The lowly hear
With gladsome fear
Their lanterns brightly burning

O magnify the LORD with me
His mercies yet abounding
Extol His name
His works proclaim
Delightful and resounding

I sought the LORD, He heard my cry
He answered to my pleading
My fears are gone
The light has shone
The darkness is receding

A longing look to Elohim
Enlightens our composure
His sacred name
Will banish shame
His love our sweet enclosure

This poor man gave his needy cry
The LORD will hear and listen
He will address
The sore distress
His mercies ever glisten

The angel of the LORD encamps
Around the saints who fear Him
And rescues them
From all mayhem
And pacifies those near Him

O taste and see the LORD is good
The truth we have invested
The tasteful food
Meets every mood
Partaken and digested

O fear the LORD ye called as saints
No lack shall be your portion
Your faith and fear
Complies with cheer
In hope without distortion

Young lions hunger in their dens
They lack the food essential
A seeking soul
With God the goal
Lacks nothing providential

Come all ye children unto me
And hearken to my wording
I’ll teach you fear
In God most dear
With blessings undergirding

Admonition
What man is he that desireth life,
and loveth many days, that he may see good?
Psalm 34:12

What man is he desiring life
With love for days in number
That he may be
A fruitful tree
A man who does not slumber

Restrain your tongue from evil speech
Speak not with guileful manner
Let all you say
Be light as day
Hold high Messiah’s banner

Flee from the evil; practice good
Seek peace as true peacemakers
For downward trends
May be your friends
When foes become partakers

The LORD sees those who heed His word
The righteous so regard it
He hears their cry
Perchance a sigh
No foe can e’er retard it

The face of God turns every way
He sees the evil doing
Their memory
In history
Shall perish, nothing rueing

The cry of those who love the LORD
Our God will hear their cases
He rescues those
With many woes
Removing all the traces

The LORD is near to anyone
Who are the broken hearted
Remorseful souls
With higher goals
Have found a life imparted

Afflictions of the righteous ones
Are many, it is clearer
The LORD is tall
To save them all
For He is ever nearer

A broken bone there shall not be
The scripture thus has spoken
Upon the day
He passed away
The fact became a token

The wicked shall be cast away
And those who hate the upright
Their lasting fate
Is desolate
Much darker than the midnight

The LORD redeems the precious souls
Of those who serve Him duly
Though made of dust
Their lasting trust
Shall seal their longing truly

Incense
Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
Psalm 25:1

Prayer

O LORD, I lift my soul to Thee
I trust in Thee alone
O let not shame encompass me
Before Thine awesome throne

Let not my foes triumphant be
Or put my soul to flight
Let none who wait and trust in Thee
Be shamed by day or night

Let any soul be put to shame
Who violates Thy laws
Despising thus Thy holy name
And that without a cause

Show me Thy paths O LORD I pray
Teach me to walk aright
Lead me in truth the righteous way
Equip me for the fight

Thou art the God who gave me rest
On Thee I daily wait
Thy love is ever manifest
With mercies they relate

Remember not my youthful sins
Nor yet my trespasses
Recall not my meanderings
In Thine own tenderness

Both good and upright is the LORD
He guides the lowly meek
In judgment and with due accord
As holiness they seek

For those who keep His law indeed
Who guard His righteousness
The paths of mercy that proceed
Will be their happiness

The meek, in judgment He will guide
Illumined in the day
For whom He called and set aside
He’ll teach them in the way

Thy paths O LORD are eminent
And truthful through and through
To such as keep Thy covenant
And witness they pursue

Petition
For thy name's sake, O LORD,
pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
Psalm 25:11

O pardon mine iniquity
For it is very great
For Thy name’s sake deliver me
Renew my lost estate

What is the man that feareth Thee?
Him truly Thou shalt teach
The rightful way his path shall be
And well within his reach

His soul shall surely dwell at ease
And then as from his birth
His seed shall savour things that please
Inheriting the earth

The secret of the LORD is sure
With those who fear His name
His covenant innately pure
And evermore the same

Mine eyes are ever to the LORD
In troubles I have met
Whatever traps are duly stored
He’ll free me from the net

O LORD will Thou turn unto me
Have mercy LORD I pray
In desolation is my plea
Affliction all the way

The troubles of my heart increase
The darkness and distress
O bring me out and hear my pleas
Thou art my righteousness

O look on my afflictions yet
The anguish and the pain
Forgive my sins lest I forget
Thy mercies still remain

Consider all mine enemies
Though many it is true
They hate me like a nemesis
With hatreds they pursue

O keep my soul; deliver me
Let me not be ashamed
For I have put my trust in Thee
As one whom Thou hast named

Let uprightness, integrity
Preserve me LORD always
For I resolve to wait on Thee
Throughout my length of days

Redeem Thy nation Israel
From every troubled woe
We know Thou doest all things well
As history doth show

Reassurance
Fret not thyself because of evildoers,
neither be thou envious
against the workers of iniquity.
Psalm 37:1

Fret not thyself nor be distressed
Of those devising ill
Nor envy those devoid of rest
Till evil has its fill

For they shall soon be mown like grass
And wither as the weed
And very soon shall come to pass
The judgment of their deed

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart
Do good on every hand
So truly thou shalt have a part
And dwell within the land

Delight thyself much in the LORD
In godliness aspire
For He shall make thy vision broad
And grant thy heart’s desire

Commit thy way unto the LORD
Keep trusting as you go
For as He promised in His word
He’ll keep thee even so

He shall bring forth thy righteousness
As clearly as the light
Thy judgment He will yet assess
As noonday shining bright

Rest in the LORD, wait patiently
Let not thyself be stressed
Of him who prospers in the way
Who plies a wicked quest

Cease from all anger, wrath forsake
Cast off the evil thought
Let goodness be thy highest stake
It never counts for naught

For evildoers shall not stand
From old they have no worth
But trusting souls have treasures grand
Inheriting the earth

For yet in just a little while
The wicked shall not be
His place no longer on the file
But judged accordingly

The meek shall have inheritance
On earth they shall increase
Delighting with a godly stance
Abundantly in peace

Perspective
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth
upon him with his teeth. The LORD shall laugh at him:
for he seeth that his day is coming.
Psalm 37:12, 13

The wicked plots against the just
And gnashes with his teeth
The LORD shall laugh for well He must
Because his days are brief

The wicked have drawn out the sword
And ready bent their bow
To cast down any needy ward
To slay the just and low

Their sword shall enter in their heart
Their bows be broken too
The upright have a righteous part
In all they say and do

A little that the righteous have
Is betterment by far
Than riches that the wicked crave
However rich they are

The arms of wicked men shall break
Be broken without trace
The LORD upholds a soul awake
Who seek Him face to face

The LORD knows well the length of days
The upright have in store
Inheritance shall be with praise
And gladness evermore

They shall not want nor be ashamed
When evil time is here
Whatever crisis could be named
They have a cup of cheer

The wicked men shall die away
And those who hate the LORD
As meadows verdant for a day
In smoke goes their reward

The wicked borrows covertly
And pays not back again
The righteous give quite openly
In mercy like the rain

The righteous whom the LORD has blest
Have heritage in store
But others cursed are manifest
Cut off for evermore

A good man’s steps are orderly
Well measured by the LORD
For He delighteth in His way
And has a rich reward

Though falling into trespasses
They will not hold him down
The LORD upholds him nonetheless
With orderly renown

Faithfulness
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen
the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Psalm 37:25

I have been young but now am old
But never have I seen
The just forsaken from the fold
Or begging with the mean

For he is ever merciful
And lendeth without quest
His seed is blest and bountiful
Wherever it finds rest

Depart from evil and do good
Dwell safe for evermore
The LORD loves justice understood
As spoken long before

The LORD does not forsake His saints
For evermore preserved
The wicked cast off all restraints
Their cries shall not be heard

The righteous shall possess the land
And dwell for evermore
They speak in wisdom fitly grand
With justice in their lore

The law of God is in their heart
Their steps shall never slide
The eye of faith does not depart
And so do they abide

The wicked watch the righteous stand
And seeketh him to slay
The LORD won’t leave him in his hand
Nor judge him on that Day

Persistence
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to
inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Psalm 37:34

Wait on the LORD and keep His way
And He shall lift thee high
Inheritance will come that day
The portion ever nigh

The wicked shall be broken off
And seen in their demise
Their wickedness that was enough
No more will have disguise

I’ve seen the wicked great in power
Spread like a native tree
Yet passed away at judgment hour
With death his legacy

Now mark the perfect man, behold,
His end is that of peace
Transgressors, be they smart or bold
Shall find their woes increase

Salvation of the righteous one
Is wholly of the LORD
He is their strength till day is done
In trouble not ignored

The LORD shall help His needy sheep
Delivering the same
No longer in the devil’s keep
They call upon His name

Worship
Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD
with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright,
and in the congregation.
Psalm 111:1

Praise ye the LORD. O praise His name
With heartiness I’ll praise Him
With them whose souls are free from blame
In glory that portrays Him

His works are great and well sought out
By those who seek His pleasure
Imbued with glory and devout
Prolonged with righteous treasure

His works are truly wonderful
The deeds to be remembered
The LORD is gracious over all
Compassions never ended

He feeds the meek and needy soul
The saint who fears Him solely
Yet mindful of each pledge and role
His covenant most holy

He showed His people awesome power
His work among the nations
For as a true and just endower
He seals their future stations

His handiwork shows clarity
With justice it is planted
Commandments are with surety
With all that He has granted

Forever they are standing fast
In truth with all endeavour
In uprightness from first to last
They stand in truth forever

He sent redemption faithfully
Unto His people truly
His covenant by His decree
He has commanded duly

Most holy is His blessed name
With reverence regarded
In majesty with loud acclaim
And never once retarded

The fear and trust in God the LORD
Marks out a soul’s beginning
Good understanding of His word
Ensures the goal he’s winning

His whole commandments clear displayed
Are altogether stated
His praise enduring firm and staid
Forever venerated

Godliness
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psalm 112:1

O praise the LORD ye sons of men
For blest are those who fear Him
Delighting greatly yet again
Commandments that endear Him

His seed: the mighty on the earth
The generation standing
The upright with imparted worth
That justice is demanding

Both wealth and riches his for sure
His household overflowing
His righteousness will yet endure
With graciousness bestowing

To upright ones the light appears
It rises in the darkness
The LORD’S compassion quells the fears
His grace excludes the starkness

A good man deals most favourably
With graciousness in lending
Discretion used effectively
Affairs he is attending

He shall not evermore be moved
So goes his righteous standing
A lasting memory approved
That nothing is remanding

He shall not fear though tidings come
Of evil news impending
His heart is fixed, not cumbersome
His trust is never ending

His heart established, free from fear
He does not harbour doubting
His enemies though far or near
He’ll see amid the routing

He has dispersed, he gives abroad
His righteousness enduring
His strength is of a high accord
With honour unassuming

The wicked with a grievous look
Shall gnash their teeth intently
Their base desire no man should truck
Will perish providently

Blessed
Blessed be the LORD my strength
which teacheth my hands to war,
and my fingers to fight:
Psalm 144:1

O blessed be the LORD my Rock
Who trains my hands for war
My fingers He doth keep in stock
Till fighting days are o’er

My goodness He’ll forever be
A fortress reaching high
For He alone delivers me
That I may never die

My refuge and my hiding place
The Shepherd of the sheep
Subduing them with tender grace
My people in His keep

O LORD, what then is mortal man
That Thou dost contemplate
The sons of men since time began
Yet mindful of his state

For man is like to vanity
His days like shadows passed
For in his brief mortality
His destiny is cast

Bow down Thy heavens and come down
Touch mountains and they smoke
In keeping with Thy great renown
As prophets duly spoke

Flash forth Thy lightning, scatter them
Shoot out Thine arrows straight
In holy zeal so shatter them
For death shall be their fate

Stretch out Thy hand and rescue me
Save me from waters deep
From hands of men though strong they be
My rest is in Thy keep

Their mouth speaks only vanity
With falsehood in their hand
Without a sense of probity
A scourge in every land

I’ll sing a new song unto Thee
O God, as Thou hast taught
With instruments and psaltery
I’ll praise Thee as I ought

He gives salvation unto kings
Complete with one accord
His servant David thus He brings
From harm: the hurtful sword

O save me from the foreign band
That speaketh words in vain
Whose right hand falsifies his stand
Inflicting every pain

Our sons, we pray, may grow as plants
As strong as in their youth
Our daughters, pillars that enhance
The palaces of truth

So that our garners may be full
Affording every store
Our sheep ten thousand with their wool
In fields or grassy moor

Our oxen may be laden well
No breaching of the law
No outcries as we safely dwell
Our streets with cries no more

O happy is that chosen race
Who dwell in such a state
Their joy is in the God of grace
The LORD they venerate

Joyful
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Psalm 100:1

Shout joyfully unto Jehovah
Ye lands and the dwellers therein
With gladness and verve
The God whom we serve
Has banished our manifold sin

Know ye that the LORD, even Yahweh
Has made us: His offspring we are
The ones in His keep
His pasturing sheep
The lambs He has called from afar

So enter His gates with thanksgiving
And into His courtrooms with praise
Be thankful to Him
As lamps never dim
With blessings abounding always

The LORD He is good altogether
His mercy is lasting and free
His truth will endure
Upholding and pure
To all generations that be

Illumined
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105

Thy word is the light
Heart-warming and bright
Yet always we need application
Wherever we are
Outgoing or far
Recall is for any occasion

Distractions abound
If faith is not sound
Submission should lead to confession
Although we are weak
Love stronger we seek
Affording our onward progression

Momentous the plan
Proposed unto man
Unswerving in all its directions
Not high in the sky
To which we could fly
Our Saviour has locked our connections

Majestic is He
Yea, more than we see
Forever His word is our treasure
Excelling in light
Expounding our blight
To lead us to joys without measure

Assurance
After these things the word of the LORD
came unto Abram in a vision, saying,
Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield,
and thy exceeding great reward.
Genesis 15:1

For Abraham and all his seed
Election is the token
A token as a title deed
Recorded as was spoken
Not only would the Spirit lead
Outstanding doors would open

The pattern of this incident
Announced to our dear brother
Becomes a standing precedent
Reserved for one another
Awaiting every complement
Made clear as we discover

In progress of our history
Amendments are inserted
Much prophecy is mystery
Till it has been adverted
Home-teaching is a legacy
Young people are alerted

So in the last analysis
Held onto when we know it
Instruction is the emphasis
Except we overthrow it
Let all our days be witnesses
Devoted lives will show it

Rejoice
Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous:
for praise is comely for the upright.
Psalm 33:1

Rejoice in the LORD all ye righteous
For praise is a beautiful thing
The upright shall be
With sweet reverie
In glory with praises they sing

Praise Him with the harpist together
Make music to Him on the strings
Let psalteries ring
With melodies sing
With joy in our hearts that He brings

Sing unto the LORD a new chorus
Outpour your oblations with cheer
Play skilful and loud
With love be endowed
To Him whom the angels revere

The word of the LORD is in keeping
Its concepts are rightly addressed
His works are well done
In truth by the Son
His love has been truly expressed

The LORD loves His righteousness wholly
His justice is always in view
His goodness complete
Each earthly retreat
Alight with a colourful hue

The LORD by His word made the heavens
He spoke and they came by command
This angelic host
No mortal can boast
Came forth and forever will stand

He gathers the waters together
The sea as a heap in its place
Storehouses yet deep
He lays in their keep
As long as their habitat stays

Let all on the earth fear and tremble
With fear and with awesome respect
Inhabitants all
Give ear to His call
Your have a Redeemer elect

He spoke and it happened as spoken
He ordered and so it stood fast
And then as it stood
Pronounced very good
For He is the first and the last

The counsel of heathen is empty
The nations He bringeth to nought
The plans they devise
Are wholly unwise
And totally fail on report

Steadfastness
The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever,
the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Psalm 33:11

The counsel of God stands forever
The thoughts of His heart evermore
So all that shall be
Accounted as free
Shall meet on that coveted shore

O blest is the resolute nation
The people whose God is the LORD
The nation He chose
To keep and enclose
His own heritage doth afford

The LORD looketh down from the heavens
Beholding the children of men
He knows every thought
The rules He has taught
Our hopes and our passionate yen

He looks on our earth habitation
He sees everyone as we are
Forever the goal
His love for each soul
Is eager and never afar

He fashions each heart as He pleases
Considering all that we do
Our work He’ll assess
With what we possess
And reckon awards that are due

No king can be saved by an army
Not even a great multitude
No mighty man’s strength
Can save him at length
That all of his life he’s pursued

A horse is a vain thing for safety
Although it has strength as we know
The scripture makes clear
The LORD who is near
Is always our strength even so

The eye of the LORD is beholding
Those fearing His wonderful name
Their hope is secure
His mercy is sure
For He is forever the same

Their soul He will surely deliver
In death they will suffer no pain
In famine or drought
His promise devout
They’ll live while the heavens remain

Our soul is now patiently waiting
Is waiting for Yahweh the LORD
Our help and our shield
To Him do we yield
His word our protection and sword

Our heart shall rejoice in Him gladly
In His holy name do we trust
For once we were lost
Yet now at great cost
No longer as vessels of dust

O LORD, let Thy mercy be on us
Fulfil the desire of our heart
Our hope it shall be
As on bended knee
We see Thee as truly Thou art

Extolled
And looking upon Jesus as he walked,
he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
John 1:36

By scanning scripture candidly
Events occur that we can see
Highlighted by degree
One such event of special note
Likeminded writers often quote
Determined history

The true Messiah thus appeared
His blessed name by saints revered
Elected and unique
Life-giving with all wonderment
Addressing each impediment
Mute persons made to speak

Because His work is now complete
Our enemies have met defeat
Forever they are slain
God’s Perfect Lamb has been revealed
On mountain top, in every field
Declared! He comes again!
