What the Bible Says About:
Creation, Life and After-life.

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth – Gen 1:1.  Mankind was created with free will in a perfect environment to enjoy a special relationship with God.  But man transgressed. … through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned – Rom 5:12
In the Beginning
Sin became a barrier between perfect God and fallen mankind.  To remove this barrier, the penalty for sin had to be paid so mankind would not be eternally separated from God and all His provision – in hell.
Wanting no-one to be separated from Him, God said He would pay the penalty.  Thus He humbled Himself and became a man to wipe clean the debt of the sins of the world. (Phil 2:5-11)
The Birth of Christ
Two thousand years ago, in a stable in Bethlehem, the God-man (Jesus Christ) was born uniquely pure of sin – to bring salvation to all mankind (Luke 2:10-11, Titus 2:11).  Behold! The Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world! – John 1:29b.  That he by the grace of God should taste death for every man – Hebrews 2:9b.
Christ's Crucifixion
Jesus Christ lived an unblemished life and was the only one qualified to pay the penalty for the sins of the world.  The great irony is He became despised and rejected by men (Isa 53:3) who unjustly condemned and nailed Him to a cross.
Christ on the cross
While there on the cross, God poured out the sins of the world to Christ and judged them.  Jesus Christ willingly bore humanity’s sins in His own body and died so we could have eternal life (1Peter 2:24a).
Christ in tomb
His body was placed in a guarded tomb.  Three days later God resurrected Jesus Christ to proclaim to humanity complete victory over death.  The barrier of sin was removed.  Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection were witnessed by many (1 Cor 15:4-8) who spread the Good News of Salvation (the Gospel) around the world.
Resurrection
The choice of salvation now rests with YOU.  God created mankind with free will and cannot force you to be saved.  But if you reject Christ’s sacrifice on your behalf – sadly, you choose to remain eternally separated from God (in hell).  However, if you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be saved – Act 16:31a, because the price has been fully paid.  The moment you believe, you are brought into an eternal relationship with God.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life – John 3:16.
The choice is yours!
